MXE•XXX

never planned to RELEASE a single record, and here we are.

A graphic design featuring a skull with a vinyl saw and a shattered pieced background, with the words 'Mind Eraser' in stylized text at the top as a logo.

The original idea was simply to help friends put their album out on the vinyl, but it kept riding from there.

I encourage you to buy records directly from the bands whenever possible. If you’d like to get MXE copies - for your personal collection, a record shop, or a distro - drop a message.

2026

A vinyl record and album cover for All Except One, titled 'death is safer than this...' with a black and white drawing of a death on a swing, a raven, bare trees, and a cracked well, against a dark sky background.

ALL EXCEPT ONE

“Death is safer than this…”

This five-piece machine comes from a place that breeds a fertile climate for dangerous, fat riffs and dark lyrics. At times ambient, at others crushingly hard, and always delivering melodies that tears through everything in its path.

All Except One fully record, mix, and produce their own material. Their second (B) side was almost forgotten and never released. Rescued from oblivion, it stands shoulder to shoulder with the newer material on the A side with a few twists.

SUPLEXX

“FUCK LIFE”

When a hardcore scene veteran joins forces with young music nerds eager to experiment with the genre, you get Suplexx.

Experienced, twisted, powerful, and controversial - this blend of everything only works because of the wide range of influences these four bring together.

Like all of Nemanja’s projects, Suplexx live is where it hits hardest. Their photos might hint at fashion fairs and surface-level flash, but underneath is a tense, fiercely charged sound that cuts through any concert hall and drags everything and everyone in its path along with it.

2025

Album cover featuring an artistic, stylized face with elements like a television, headphones, and tree branches, with the text 'Los Primjer' at the top and 'puls univerzuma' at the bottom, alongside two vinyl records.

LOŠ PRIMJER

“PULS Univerzuma”

Loš Primjer is one of the most legendary and long-lasting punk bands in Croatia and its broader region.

Singing in their native tongue makes it harder to spread their message to a wider audience, which is a shame, because packed with their own blend of punk and metal influences - these songs are built for sing-alongs!

Recorded, engineered, mixed, and produced by the band themselves over the course of a year gave them extra time to add whatever they liked to this release. The result is a heavily charged, in-your-face punk record meant to be studied.

A vinyl record with a marbled orange, black, and yellow design, partially pulled out of a dark sleeve featuring an abstract art design with a figure with a dog mask for the cover of SV. Pseta vinyl release.

SV. PSETA

s/t

Two emotionally charged, introspective albums - “I da nađem izlaz, ne bih ti ga pokazao.” (2025) and “Nepoznato iskustvo.” (2023) released together on a single vinyl within a gatefold sleeve.

Sv. Pseta push their sound into experimental territory, at times feeling closer to a movie soundtrack than a punk record.

Intense live performances as a trio or duo are what make this band stand out even more. Check the videos on the band’s profile and see for yourself why this double-album release deserves a listen.

2024

Black vinyl record cover with orange and black vinyl records partially visible. The cover features artwork of a burning building. The band's name 'Peripetija' and the album name 'Zar Nisi Besan?' are written on it.

Peripetija

“Zar nisi besan?”

Aren’t you angry?” is the debut LP by Peripetija, following their first demo released in 2023. Pure in-your-face antifascist straight edge hardcore - fast, pissed, raw and uncompromising.

Not much of SXE bands left on the Balkans unfortunately, so Peripetija keeps the torch still burning. Recorded, mixed, produced, and designed entirely by the band themselves. DIY as fuck.

A vinyl record and cover album titled 'Mural Kolapsa' by Kriva Istina, featuring artwork of a globe with hands gripping it and a cityscape on top, in a dark, gritty style.

Kriva Istina

“Mural Kolapsa”

One of the most engaged punk bands in the Balkans with a clear stance against the system, the ruling class, repression, discrimination, war, hatred, and everything rotten in this world.

They regularly produce printed and digital educational materials to inform and educate punx and others. For this release, instead of a standard booklet, you get a small fanzine explaining why and how the lyrics on this album (critical of society) were written.

NOTE: Initially “Mural Kolapsa” was pressed as red marbled heavyweight vinyl. If you received the red marbled pressing and want a free replacement, get in touch.

Three vinyl records in purple, red, and black, partially inside a paper sleeve with an illustration and text. The sleeve features a drawing with the text 'malisa bahat' as a band name at the top and 'lovers. loners. losers.' at the bottom.

MALIŠA BAHAT

“Lovers. Loners. Losers.”

You don’t turn down an invitation to collaborate on a record by what might be one of the best screamo bands currently active in the Balkans.

Dual vocals drowning in chaos. This controlled aggression is now out on vinyl in three different color options for all the skramz freaks out there.

To love, to be alone to lose, and to enjoy it.

2023

Red vinyl record and a black-and-white album cover with graffiti-style red text that reads ŽUPANJA HARDCORE 30 YEARS, featuring a sketch of a house on stilts with trees and bushes around it.

V/A

“Županja Hardcore - 30 years”

Thirty years of noise, resistance, and collective collaboration between punx and metalheads in Županja. This record tells the story of a small town in Croatia with 8k people living in the place MXE has been born as well. And that small place gave birth to many punk bands, out of which 16 of them are documented here in the period from 1992 to 2022.

A small but dedicated crew in Županja continues to organize gigs, a festival, and various workshops and events, even as the number of active punk bands in the town itself unfortunately keeps shrinking to near zero.

A vinyl record album with artwork on the cover featuring a mystical, hybrid creature with multiple blue-highlighted facial masks or faces, surrounded by stylized feathers or leaves, and the band's name, Dying East, written in gothic font.

DYING EAST

“S/T”

Hometown punks and metalheads crafted this metal machinery in the Balkans, even though it sounds like it came straight from a Swedish technical spaceship.

Picking up where Proslov left off, they push things further with heavier and more melodic riffs. The record was released in a limited edition.

The band is no longer active.

Smrt Razuma

“Nova Era Mraka”

A furious gang delivering heavy thrash metal riffs fused with old-school hardcore punk. Lyrics take aim at war, borders, human suffering, and inequality in working-class society.

Despite lineup changes on guitar, the band has remained extremely active on the Balkan scene, making the sound that’s unmistakably their own.

Formed in Osijek, then spreading along the Osijek–Novi Sad route, and later Osijek–Novi Sad–Županja. No borders, no nations - nothing can stop these motherfuckers.

Black vinyl record partially inside a sleeve with a black and white illustration of a wolf with two heads and a lion with two heads, and the text "PROSLOV" at the top and "GROUND ZERO" at the bottom, on a black background. This is split release.

Proslov & Ground Zero

“Split LP”

Two bands from Croatia and Serbia shaking walls with their metalized hardcore sound wherever they show up. After years of friendship, it only made sense to join forces and release this beast together.

Coming from similar backgrounds, the match was easy. This record and shows organized around those two bands brought them and their crews even closer.

Proslov is unfortunately no longer active. Ground Zero keeps smashing.

Kriva Istina

“Manifest Pobune”

The first record ever released by MXE. With no prior know-how or point of contacts and shared experiences, a direct collaboration between the band and two friends made it possible to put this vinyl together.

Both the record and the live shows took Kriva Istina to new places, playing shows all across the Balkans.
